AI Transparency Policy

Toolinium includes both ordinary browser utilities and features that may use AI. The presence of AI should not be hidden from users.

When AI may be used

AI can be used for features such as advanced OCR or language-related processing when the tool explicitly enables that workflow. Other utilities may use deterministic browser code and no AI at all.

User data and external services

If a feature sends an image, text or other input to a server or third-party AI provider, that behavior should be disclosed on the tool page. Private API keys are kept out of public frontend code and should be stored as server-side secrets.

Limits of AI output

AI can misread, omit or invent details. Outputs should be treated as assistance rather than guaranteed truth, especially for scanned text, translations, health information, finance, legal material or other high-impact uses.

AI-assisted publishing

AI may assist with code or drafts, but Toolinium aims to keep published descriptions consistent with the working product and to correct material errors when found.
