Privacy Policy

How we handle information when you use Toolinium's free online tools.

Last updated: July 7, 2026

Overview

Toolinium ("we", "us", "our") operates toolinium.com (the "Site"), a free collection of browser-based utilities for text, images, development, SEO and everyday calculations. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you visit the Site, how it is used, and the choices available to you.

By using Toolinium, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Site.

Information We Collect

We keep data collection to a minimum. Toolinium does not require account creation, so we do not collect names, passwords, or payment details.

Information collected automatically

  • Usage data: pages visited, tools used, time spent, and general navigation patterns, collected through analytics and advertising cookies.
  • Device & log data: browser type, operating system, device type, approximate location (derived from IP address), and referring URLs, typically collected by our hosting provider and analytics/advertising partners.

Information you choose to provide

  • Your email address, if you subscribe to our newsletter or contact us through the contact form.
  • Any content you type into a tool (e.g. text to summarize, an image to compress) — see the next section for how this is handled.

How Our Tools Process Your Data

Toolinium's tools are built to run directly in your browser using client-side JavaScript. For the vast majority of tools, this means:

  • The text, images, or files you enter into a tool are processed locally on your own device and are not uploaded to our servers.
  • We do not store, retain, or gain access to the content you paste into or upload to a tool.
  • Once you close or refresh the tab, that content is gone — we never see it.
If a specific tool ever requires server-side processing, that tool's page will clearly disclose this before you use it.

Cookies & Local Storage

We use cookies and similar technologies (such as browser localStorage) to:

  • Remember your theme preference (dark/light mode) and favorite tools.
  • Understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve it.
  • Allow advertising partners to serve relevant ads (see below).

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time. Disabling cookies may affect certain features, such as saved preferences. For full detail, see our Cookie Policy.

Advertising (Google AdSense)

Toolinium may display advertisements served by Google AdSense and other advertising networks to keep our tools free to use.

  • Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies (such as the DoubleClick cookie) to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
  • Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
  • You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of third-party vendor use of cookies by visiting www.aboutads.info.
  • Third-party ad vendors' use of tracking technologies is subject to their own privacy policies, not this one.

Analytics

We may use analytics services (such as Google Analytics) to understand aggregate site traffic and usage trends. These services collect information such as pages visited and time on site, generally in an anonymized or pseudonymized form, and use their own cookies to do so.

Third-Party Links & Services

The Site may contain links to third-party websites, and some tools may reference external services (such as font or icon libraries). We are not responsible for the content, security, or privacy practices of any third-party site. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any site you visit.

Children's Privacy

Toolinium is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.

Your Rights & Choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights under laws such as the GDPR (EU/UK) or CCPA (California) including the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information, and the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for advertising purposes.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe in accordance with applicable law.

Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the limited information we do collect. However, no method of transmission or storage over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when this policy was last revised. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
